A minor in religion consists of 6 courses of 3 or more credits.
 · At least three of the courses must be at the 300 or 400 level.
 · An average grade of "C" or better is required to fulfill these requirements.
· With prior approval of the department, up to two religion-related courses (6 credits) offered by other departments (Cognate Courses) may be credited toward the major.
UPDATE: Effective with the graduating class of 2010, all minors must take: 840:211, "Religions of the Eastern World;" and 840:212, "Religions of the Western World.
