840:423 SEMINAR IN BUDDHISM (3)

The Seminar in Buddhism is taught by different faculty in the department on a rotating basis. It aims to survey key topics in the academic study of Buddhism, and to familiarize students with recent scholarship and critical debates in the field. Seminar topics vary, although potential areas of focus include Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhism and Psychology, Buddhist Literature, as well as aspects of Buddhist social, cultural, and political history in Asia.
