840:425 SEMINAR ON LAW AND RELIGION (3)

Recent scholarship on religion and law, with a particular focus on religious freedom and legal tolerance in the United States, the trials of secular law in modern Egypt, and the intellectual histories of "god's law" in traditions of Islamic and Judeo-Christian jurisprudence. (Only open to majors in their junior or senior year, or by permission.)
